Jet lagged? Check. Haven't ran in 3 weeks? Check. Only back in the coutnry 36 hours? Check. Going on ~4 hours of sleep? Check. Want to run 13 miles? Sure, why not? I had just got back from Europe and was in a let lag haze, but I really wanted to run. Luckily Susan came up with a route, and drove us to the trail head, all I had to do was run. Despite feeling completely out of it and having no idea what time zone I was in, the run felt absolutely amazing. It wasn't a cure for my jet lag but it sure helped me mentally.
